Classroom Ideas Research Presentations IT Responsibilities Personal Interests

Outside my work in Instructional Technology, I participate in church and social groups, reading clubs and community events spending my time predominantly in activities that include my family.  We live rurally in a log home that we built ourselves.  Though we live remotely we tend to be surrounded by electronic gadgetry that pleases both my intrinsic interest in things that operate on the binary number system and my children's interest in video gaming.  This also allows me to include my children as a research group for many of my IT ideas!

Living in West Virginia, there are many recreational activities that I enjoy with my husband and children.  We are avid tent-campers, we camp in our back yard on the West Fork River and at local state parks.

We are actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America and in Girl Scouting, Where Girls Grow Strong!

Commit to a Girl. Girl Scouts. Go.

We passed many spring evenings at the Clarksburg Central Little League field this year, looking forward to our third Little League season....GO COKE!!

We also travel as a family, spend many hours reading, hiking, bike riding, and cooking.  We like to watch movies on rainy days and bargain shopping is a favorite activity for a girls-night-out.

Our life is completed by a family owned 9-hole golf course that is on our property.  The golf course consumes many summer hours, if it isn't dark, we're open.  Hide-A-Way offers 9 beautiful holes away from the noise and traffic.  Hide-A-Way Golf Course, LLC.
