LBP Clinician

The LBP Clinician is responsible for teaching in the clinical reading program at West Virginia Wesleyan College using Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes. Teaching in this program involves diagnostic and prescriptive teaching of students with reading, spelling, and language processing needs; collaborating with the LBP Coordinator and other LBP clinicians in testing, consulting, and pacing the students enrolled in LBP. This is a part-time position, which begins in mid-August and ends in early May, each year.

Qualifications/Skills Required: A Bachelor’s degree in education or other liberal arts field, experience in teaching or in tutoring individuals, and the ability to be trained in Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes. The LBP Clinician possess strong phoneme awareness and language comprehension skills, interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment with other professionals and constituencies.
